X3 INDUSTRIAL FUSED FILAMENT FABRICATION 3D PRINTER
The Markforged X3 industrial 3D printer combines precision-built hardware, advanced sensors and best-in-class software. It features a reinforced, precision-machined gantry and a precision ground print bed that can be removed and replaced with 10um repeatability. Each piece of hardware in the filament extrusion system — from the nozzles to the extruder hobs — is optimized to resist wear from micro carbon fiber filled nylon filaments and maintain print quality over thousands of hours.
Industrial X3 leverages the incredible material qualities of Onyx—twice the strength and stiffness of standard printing plastics—with an advanced sensor suite to deliver unparalleled reliability.
 
HARDWARE
With a built-in laser micrometer, the X3 3D plastic printer automatically scans the print bed with 1μm accuracy to generate a contour map of it's surface. By calibrating it's measurements with extrusion readings to perfectly set nozzle height and active topography adjustment, the X3 ensures your prints come out exactly how you want them.
MATERIALS
ONYX
ONYX is a black filament, a micro carbon reinforced nylon made by mixing short fiber carbon fiber with nylon material.
It has twice the strength of plastic (1.4 times that of ABS) and high heat resistance, and it is possible to model parts that have no problem as industrial products.
The parts modeled using ONYX have an excellent surface finish.
